Mr. Hammad is an established Director of Photography (DoP), professional filmmaker, and the co-founder of Sirdab Studio. He specializes in photographic film production and works closely with directors to develop the look and feel of a production. Mr. Hammad’s DoP role builds on years of experience in cinematography and video editing and his work reflects an intimate knowledge of film production equipment and cinematic filming techniques. Before establishing Sirdab Studio, Mr. Hammad was the Director of Photography at Manshour Productions and ArtLab Jerusalem.

Co-founder and head of Sirdab Studio, an audio-visual production company, Mr. Hammad brings in-depth experience in pre-production (planning), production (filming), and post-production (editing, colour-grading, and visual effects). Mr. Hammad’s leadership has been marked by commitment to deadlines and budgets and the familiarity and personal engagement that comes from working with small crews. At Sirdab, Mr. Hammad worked with artists to direct the photography of music videos, corporate commercials, and communication material for advocacy.

As an artist and film producer, Mr. Hammad is an active member and creator in Palestinian and Arab cinema, arts and culture. Through his experience in cinema, Mr. Hammad has developed his distinct and recognizable style, known for free and dynamic camera movement in his cinematography, as well as creating an experimental and ambient atmosphere through his montage work.
